A breakthrough laser-free treatment that smooths lines, tightens skin, and restores a fresh, luminous complexion — safely, effectively, and with remarkably little downtime.
Book a Tixel ConsultationTixel® is a next-generation skin rejuvenation device that uses Thermo-Mechanical Action (TMA®) — a proprietary, patented technology developed by Novoxel. Instead of lasers or light, Tixel® uses a grid of tiny medical-grade titanium pyramids, heated to a precise temperature, that briefly touch the skin for only milliseconds at a time.
That gentle, controlled contact transfers heat into the skin, creating microscopic channels that trigger your skin's natural healing and collagen-building response. The result is visible improvement in texture, firmness, and tone — rivalling the results of deep peels and ablative lasers, but with significantly less discomfort, downtime, or risk.
Because Tixel® uses direct heat transfer rather than light, it's safe for all skin tones, gentle enough for delicate areas like the eyelids, and free of the risks of smoke, burns, or carbonisation associated with traditional laser resurfacing.
A matrix of sterile titanium pyramids is heated to 400°C within the device.
The pyramids briefly touch the skin — millisecond contact at controlled pressure and depth.
Precise thermal energy is delivered to the skin in a controlled fractional pattern.
Collagen and elastin remodelling begins — progressive improvement over weeks.
Softens expression lines, crow's feet, and the fine wrinkles around the eyes, mouth, and forehead.
Smooths rough, uneven skin, refines pores, and restores an even, luminous complexion.
Gentle tightening of areas like the eyelids, under-eye region, cheeks, and neck.
Improves the appearance of atrophic acne scars and certain surgical or traumatic scars.
Lifts superficial pigmentation and addresses skin changes from sun exposure.
Improves the texture and appearance of stretch marks on the body.
Most clients experience just 2–4 days of social downtime — mild redness, pinpoint micro-crusting, and a dry, tight feeling that resolves within a week.
Because Tixel® doesn't use light energy, it can safely treat deeper skin tones — a significant limitation of most laser treatments.
Most patients describe the sensation as warm and tolerable. Topical numbing keeps treatment comfortable — no heavy sedation required.
Tixel® is gentle and controlled enough to treat delicate areas — including upper and lower eyelids — where lasers often cannot safely go.
Direct contact heat transfer means no smoke plume, no carbonisation, and a cleaner, safer treatment environment overall.
Results build over 8–12 weeks as new collagen forms — and continue to improve with each treatment in the recommended series.
Consultation. We'll assess your skin, discuss your goals, and confirm that Tixel® is the right treatment for you.
Day of treatment. A topical numbing cream is applied 30–45 minutes prior. The treatment itself takes 30–60 minutes depending on the area, and the sensation is typically described as warm prickling.
Immediately after. Expect redness similar to a sunburn, with the skin feeling warm and tight. You'll leave with clear aftercare instructions and a personalised home-care plan.
Days 2–5. Micro-crusts (tiny dark dots — the "bronzing" phase) form and naturally flake off. Makeup can usually be worn from day 3–4.
Weeks 2–12. New collagen forms and results progressively unfold — smoother, firmer, more radiant skin.
Number of sessions. Most concerns respond best to a series of 3–4 treatments, spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Your personalised plan is confirmed at consultation.
Most clients describe the sensation as warm prickling — very manageable, particularly with topical numbing cream applied beforehand. Tixel® is typically described as more comfortable than fractional laser or radiofrequency microneedling treatments.
Lasers use light energy, which can carry risks of burns, hyperpigmentation (particularly in deeper skin tones), and generate smoke plume. Tixel® uses direct heat transfer through a titanium tip — there's no light, no smoke, and it's safe across all skin tones. Many clinicians consider Tixel® the next evolution in fractional resurfacing.
Yes — and this is one of Tixel®'s standout advantages. The device can be used on the upper and lower eyelids, softening fine lines and crepey skin in an area most lasers cannot safely treat.
Most clients experience 2–4 days of "social downtime." Expect redness and a tight, dry feeling for 24–72 hours, followed by tiny bronze-coloured micro-crusts that naturally flake off over 3–7 days. Most clients return to work within a few days.
You'll notice an immediate glow once the initial redness settles. Progressive collagen remodelling continues for 8–12 weeks, and results build further with each subsequent session.
Most clients see optimal results with a series of 3–4 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Maintenance treatments once or twice a year help preserve your results long-term. Your personalised plan will be confirmed during consultation.
Tixel® isn't suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for clients with active skin infections in the area, a history of keloid scarring, or certain skin conditions. We'll review your full medical history at consultation to ensure this treatment is right for you.
Avoid sun exposure and tanning for 2 weeks prior, pause retinoids and exfoliating acids for 5–7 days beforehand, and arrive with clean skin free of makeup on the day. Full pre-care and post-care instructions will be provided after your consultation.
